Sui speed touts. Great. But speed without visibility is just fast motion in the dark. I don’t need another Layer-2 dream wrapped in marketing fluff—I need granular transaction tracing, real-time event hooks, and clean API access to verified state roots. When your analytics stack can’t connect to Etherscan-grade block explorers or TRM’s risk models, you’re not building DeFi—you’re building a sci-fi novel.
The Real Cost of Ignoring Data
I’ve consulted for seven exchanges last year. Every one asked for the same thing: clean data flows, auditable event logs, deterministic parsing of on-chain actions. Sui offered elegance—but no elbows-deep instrumentation. You can’t optimize portfolio risk if you can’t see who sent what—and when.
